Jonathan is a Graduate Student and research assistant in the Environmental Science M.S. program at American University. His current research and thesis proposal is focused on coral reef ecology in southeastern Asia, specifically focusing on historic species turnover of coral in Guam. Jonathan’s research background includes projects focused on geology, environmental science, environmental health, climate adaptation and mitigation strategies, and marine ecology. Jonathan is also currently employed as an Environmental Protection Specialist for the Federal Department of Transportation. His work with FCEA will focus on proposed and potential governance mechanisms and processes related to climate engineering.
